Hi, I’m Anna. Welcome to Inside Jatheon Archiving Suite video series. In this video, you’ll learn about the implementation of Jatheon cCore, Jatheon’s email archiving appliance.
Let’s get one thing out of the way – Jatheon cCore is compatible with all email platforms, both cloud and on-premise. Once your organization receives the appliance, one of our support engineers will get in touch and configure the appliance remotely. If you need help to set up the email journaling process, we’ll make sure it’s done correctly and that everything is working smoothly.
If you also purchased a Jatheon DR solution, our Support Team will configure the synchronization between the two appliances. This means that, if the primary box suffers any damage or malfunction, the secondary appliance will take over the archiving process while our Support fixes the issue.
Most Jatheon customers use local NFS backup. We’ll provide you the instructions on how to set it up. In case you need help, you can contact our Support Team and our engineers will be happy to help. In case you purchased our Cloud Backup, Jatheon Support will make sure this is configured properly as well. If you need to synchronize the archiving solution with a directory server, we’ll do that as well.
As far as import is concerned, we’ll help you import your PST and EML files from a network drive into the Jatheon cCore appliance. The process is straightforward and its duration depends on the number of emails and the size of individual emails and attachments.
I hope this was helpful. If you’d like to learn more about Jatheon’s products and services, follow our blog or visit our Support Center for more useful Jatheon Archiving Suite articles.
