New on Jatheon Cloud: FOIA Request Automation, Expanded Case Tagging, and Liya Global Chat

Jatheon Cloud’s latest release introduces new features designed to help compliance teams work faster across growing data volumes. The main addition is FOIA Request Automation, a new capability that helps teams reduce manual work when processing open records requests.

This release also expands case tagging across more data types and introduces Liya Global Chat for archive-wide interaction. Here’s what’s new:

FOIA Request Automation: Turn Requests into Search Criteria Faster

FOIA request management often starts with manual review. Teams need to read the request, identify date ranges, interpret what data is being asked for, and then build the search manually.

Jatheon Cloud now automates that early step.

Users can upload a FOIA request document in PDF or TXT format, and the system will process the contents to generate structured search predicates and date ranges. Once processed, those FOIA-derived criteria are saved so users can review, refine, and run the search.

This helps teams move faster from request intake to search execution.

Searches are now grouped into main tabs, including Email, Social, Files, and FOIA. Each category includes both personal and shared searches, making it easier to manage request-related workflows separately from day-to-day search activity.

This gives users better visibility into saved request criteria and a cleaner way to revisit active or previous FOIA matters.

FOIA deadlines are strict, and request volumes are not getting smaller. Many requests now span multiple custodians and data sources, which adds more complexity to the review process.

Expanded File Tagging and Case Support

This release also expands tagging and case management across more archived content types.

Liya Global Chat: One Interface for All Archived Content

Jatheon Cloud now includes Liya Global Chat, a new way to interact with archived content across the platform.

A floating Liya button allows users to chat with emails, social content, and files in a single interface. This creates a more unified experience for users who need to search and review content across multiple archived sources.
