Schools in the U.S. will soon have to make some changes to the way they comply with Title IX regulations.
One of the biggest pushes coming from the U.S. Department of Education is for Title IX coordinators that have the access and power to ensure compliance across an entire school or educational system. The DOE continues to investigate the problems of sexual assault at institutes of higher education and begins to look into related problems at elementary, middle and high schools. Therefore, the compliance of many universities is sure to come under the microscope.
A high level of comprehension related to all Title IX requirements is crucial, but it’s not the only requirement to ensure compliance. Educational institutions also have to use the right data archiving tools and have strong policies to truly remain on the right side of Title IX.
